THE PROJECT, MORE FAMILIARLY KNOW AS BAHIA, WAS ONE OF THE EARLIER WATER BASED HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS IN NOVATO, CA. RATHER THAN THE INDIVIDUAL HOUSES IN A ROW, THIS DESIGN USED CLUSTERING OF 1-4 UNITS AND THEN A VISUAL BREAK TO LET THE WATER VIEWS PASS THROUGH.
ENTRY TO EACH UNIT FROM THE STREET WAS THROUH A PRIVATE, FENCED IN GARDEN AREA. AT THE WATER SIDE, THE UNITS HAD A DOCK AND WALKWAYS FOR THE RESIDENTS.
